Making sausage at home is one of the longest and oldest kept Italian traditions. We love it. It's a very much a part of our lives as our own beating hearts. We're not just making sausage. We're passing on an experience of traditions, knowledge. A time when food was praised, held high, and life was simpler. These are some photos of our very own family here at Salumist. Four generations coming together and sharing this experience. It doesn't get much more artisan and hand made than this. Wise, aged hands skilfully cutting, tying and hanging, teaching the younger generations.
